I can only call to mind a pokemon by seeking it out in my mind.
Right now, just thinking "Pokemon" doesn't naturally draw out a Mon to my mind's eye; it won't come to me standing in the middle of a lightless library, I'll only see it if I walk to this or that section and shine a light on it.
