Catching every Pokemon is bugman slave behavior. An intelligent trainer can discern which Pokemon are worth his time and which are not. Catching them all is not only stupid, but also selfish and abusive. No Pokemon wants to be in a relationship where they are treated as a souless collectable. Keep being a slave to your impulses, collectors.
