Specifically early Kanto-Johto Ash. I think Red would see him as a brasher, short tempered version of himself. Blue (talking about the rival) would call him an idiot and Green would make fun of him a lot. I think the Blue and Green would think he is an idiot when he blatantly ignores type matchups until he pulls off stuff like "Pikachu aim for the horn."
