i just finished a crystal randomizer nuzlocke, with the additional rule that i may only gain exp from trainers, so no grinding, this makes exp a limited resource and actually recaptured the fun of nuzlockes for me, i havent finished one in probably 10 years before this. that being said i lost to Red at mt silver (i still consider it a win as long as i entered the hall of fame), his levels are just too high to beat with the limited exp rule unless you have really good luck with what his team randomizes into, also i set it so trainer pokemon are always fully evolved past level 40, and likewise i set my own pokemon to evolve no later than 40 because i wanna be able to use a pseudo for once, anyway heres the team and where i got themthe team i beat lance with:tyranitar was my starter, super luckysmokey (seaking) was an in-game trade in violet city (usually onix), the trade exp boost was really nice with this rulesetraikou was the suicune at tin towervictreebel was caught at route 45 when i really needed a grass typepostgame:weezing was the level 50 snorlax blocking diglett cave, i kept him with a polkadot bow for explosion just in casesuicune was from lugiasame poster btw >>59213615
