Sleepless Knight Edition>F.A.QComplete list of Pokémon herehttps://www.serebii.net/pokemonpokopia/availablepokemon.shtml>Can I have more than one world in the same console?Yes. You can have different saves for each profile. It's not like AC.>What about cloud saves?Yes. Unlike every other Pokémon game, this one does support cloud saves.>Does it feature a real time clock? Can I change the console's date to progress faster?Yes. There's no downside to moving forward or backward.>Is my favorite Pokemon in?List is still being updated https://www.serebii.net/pokemonpokopia/availablepokemon.shtml>I didn't like ACNH, will I like this one?Similarities with ACNH end at the UI; game is a lot faster, with more activities and a proper ~40h long story mode. If you've played DQ Builders 2, you know what you're getting into.>Combat? Breakable tools? No combat, no breakable tools. There's a stamina system in place, but it's very easy to manage.>Should I start building a mega project or finish the story?FINISH THE STORY! Or, at the very least, complete Beach and Ridges.>6DXL PD6FIsland made by a random Japanese person with one of every item and habitat. NOT a dev island.Previous Thread: >>59182796 #
>not enough items: the game
wow.. just like in the anime...
>>59214359I was at a Dream Island with the brown breakable dirt and there was nothing behind it. Is it random whether there will be a human record behind it?
>>59213210I removed his habitat and he still won't follow me to Pallet. If anyone can post a screenshot of him in Pallet be my guest.
I think it would be really cool if you could have little battles in this game. It would make visiting people more fun. Do you think that might be a thing in the future or is that retarded?
>>59215659I dunno if battles would fit, but I would love some kind of minigame that is more envolved than jump rope and hide & sneak.
>>59215719That is what I was getting at and I agree
why is everyone a they/them?
>Hear that the Rowlet clock can activate motion sensors so you can set an hourly eventNeat but I have no idea what to do with that info.
>>59215929Westerners are afraid of natural genders.
>>59215929Why not?
So i've gotten every recipe from water sparkles, and so far have only gotten pokemetal from them. Can i still get the house kits from sparkling spot or no?
Why did they not include shinies?
>>59215973>forced corporate pairingyou are easily manipulated.
>>59215973Cute boyfriends and their little brothers
>>59215973Cute gay single dads and their kids! (:
Really wanted to make a gamer house with glowing floors and walls for Mimikyu, but he absolutely hates bright places.
>have to deal with another rain-only spawn todayHere we go. See you guys in like 3 hours
>>59215973Cute family
>>59215592It should be all the time but the area is extremely small like maybe 3x3 wall will be the entrance. If you see breakable dirt that's like 5 or more high and like 10 wide then it leads to nothing.
I put down a campsite habitat but it doesn't register. like it's not getting created. does anyone know why
>>59215929Because unless that Pokémon have a gender difference, there is no info on their gender. We go for singular they.
>>59216401is the fire lit?
>>59216579yeah it is, I put down a lit fire, a hay bed and a hay stool or whatever it is a rock on some hay and nothing happens..
>>59216662use a straw stool not a bed.
>>59216706im retarded, I looked at the picture thinking it was the bed
>>59215929The huge amount of singular they/thems in the script does read really awkwardly, especially when Pokemon are referring to other Pokemon that they're acquainted with (and would obviously know the actual gender of). If I had to give an actual guess (besides "omg woke"), it'd be that they wanted to keep it ambiguous because the Pokemon are just arbitrary individuals of a species rather than proper characters. The Pokemon games usually say "it", which would read better, but text in the other games is written from the perspective of humans instead of Pokemon. It'd sound wrong if Pokemon referred to each other as "it".From some reading online, it sounds like some languages do give them particular genders, like Spanish, which has gendering built in with every noun in the language. So I guess every language handles it differently. I wonder if the genders for each Pokemon are consistent between languages.
>>59215929How does this affect you, though?
I need motivation to do anything right now. I have completed the Pokédex on the main game, and can’t be assed with the Cloud Island (though maybe I just open it by posting the code and let /vp/ do what they will with it). I have Pokémon I want to give homes, but I just can’t be bothered to.
>>59215584Why is it pissing while its flying?
>>59216921have you considered the fact that you have maybe perhaps beaten the game
>>59217045But all the Eeveelutions don’t live together in a giant multi-story house. So have I truly beat the game?
>>59217066take them all to your own multistory house and chain them up in your basement
>>59216921My problem is that I can't think of any good buildings. I look online for ideas for other builds and even if I copy them they don't really look right with all the other stuff I built. This kind of game is hard to me.
>>59217066And typing this out got me motivated to start building them one. Except Flareon. He can stay in his restaurant like the peasant he is.
>>59217293Where do you people get the materials to make such huge structures
>>59217296It is marble. Just go to a Clefairy dream island and destroy a bunch of limestone. Every 4 blocks of limestone becomes 10 of marble. If you want true efficiency, make it concrete. That is also over 200 blocks for the perimeter.
>starting creating a crater in the center of the map of PT that digs into the ocean>created 3 alters inside for the 3 dogs>was still missing Entei>finished up alot of it, just needs more decorations and touch ups>go to dream island for the day>get Entei immediatelyA good day's work.
Now that Fuschia doesn't drop to Rank 9 every time it rains I can start work on Vermillion. I sectioned off and drained the canal that leads from the run down farm to the sea and started making it a big training area for Fighting types, as well as a dojo with enough hidden mini-homes for 16 Pokemon.
>>59217458>Now that Fuschia doesn't drop to Rank 9 every time it rainsHow did that happen? How many pokemon did you have there and what were their living conditions like?
>>59217634No idea how many Pokemon are there but they're all happy enough. The rain just put out Mew's campfire every time, making her sad about being cold.I finally got enough other stuff she likes that the fire is no longer an issue.
>>59217646Have you considered putting a roof over the fire?
>>59217646>go up to the pokemon centre's PC>activate it>press the - (minus) buttonIt will list the pokemon living on that map and how comfortable they all are.
I only built one thing today.
>>59216758In japan they generally just use the name of the "species" over any pronouns, which might be why. Since there's so few pokemon with gender differences, it becomes pretty ambiguous and dependent on the language. In japanese, all you have to go off of is their personal pronouns. Those each have feminine/masculine connotations but not as much as he/she does in english.
Okay, so what do we think about a DLC that adds clothing items to mons that aren't Ditto? That would be peak if you ask me.>>59217723Looks cool, I like palcing little structures in random places.
Is it so quiet here because everyone is playing the meme game?
>>59215973Goh was basically a proto-RoyHate his ass
Is it possible to place enough lava in a cave to make it have the same red lighting like in the Rocky Ridges caves or the Fire Altar?
>>59218010It's a singleplayer game that came out just under two months ago. A majority of players have moved on until DLC or a sequel comes out.
>almost finished terraforming the area for the power plant>suddenly can't find where I put that kitI love my life
The bots be tripin' sometimes
Is there any point to using a furnace to generate electricity over the generators that don’t require additional resources?
>>59219267It depends on what you want. They all have things they're bad at.Waterwheel needs a flowing source of water so the whole thing is wider than you expect.Windmill is taller than you expect.Furnace is not passive.Generator doesn't have a lot of power.
>>59215973Cute Boyfriends just like their trainers
>>59219318Windmill also has to be above a certain elevation to get the full effect of it. Don’t think the Water Wheel needs flowing water, just water that’s wide enough.
>Eevee can’t walk in full height waterFuck. Now I have to make my swimming pool only be half height in at least one part and hope it doesn’t fuck things up.
I've now reached the point where shining ripples have started giving me Pokemetal ingots instead of recipes, but I know for a fact I don't have all the recipes in the game. I assume there's just some that are hardcoded never to appear in the ripples?
>>59219953its a bulba
>>59219267I basically only use furnaces because you can just hide them underground and then use wireless power transmitters underground as well. I always have way too many leaves and twine and whatever the fuck anyway, and shit honestly burns forever.
>>59220114Some can only be acquired from pokedex completion rewards, others from finding the recipes in the map (I know that one of the last recipes I needed was the ship's wheel and it's in the SS Anne's big chimney), and some are shop exclusive after you finish its related quest (like the Eeveelution items)
>Accidentally destroy a Pokemon's habitat>Can't find them on the mapHow exactly am I supposed to move them back in? I can't just use Honey to spawn them in, they don't have a home anymore.
>>59220531You're SOL and just have to swap maps until they appear again. Each time you come back, use the pokedex finder to ask a pokemon with teleport or flying so they can take you straight to the homeless pokemon if they're spawned in.
>get a random Azumarill out of nowhere the one time it rarely rains in Bleak BeachCool
I was trying to copy a storage room I found in a video but how the FUCK did he make them elevated like that? It isn't working for me.
>>59220531Both times I've done that, the missing Pokemon respawned immediately right by their home when I pressed the search button on the Pokedex.
>>59220929BoxBlocksBoxThen break the blocks
>>59217293More progress made on the mansion I am making for the Eeveelutions. The pool area even has a kiddie pool that Eevee can go in.
>>59215932Attach it to a Spook in a box. Put it in the Mr Mime Jail cell (that hopefully has the Magby statues blowing fire at him as well. He will suffer an eternity of torment forever and forever for his crimes are many, and his suffering earned.
>>59220987lifesaver
>>59220992This looks promising. I should stop doing planning and just make stuff.
There is a melody in Pokopia in Palette town that is exactly 9 seconds long and it plays in Palette Town at exactly 8:34pm.ITS THE BEST FUCKING MELODY IN THE WORLD
>make myself a new house in Palette away from the main island>bring over some mons>2 days later only half of them spawn at the same time>Aurorus still litters with stones even when she's not presentKoei, you've got an issue to fix.>>59221372I usually don't play with sound.
>>59221544Litter Pokémon litter all the time, even when not spawned in. That isn’t a bug.
>>59222177Bug or not, it makes no sense.
>>59220663in recent years, Azumarill has grown on me
>rain dance no longer makes it rain on palette townWhat did I break?
>>59222313I think the idea is that they were there while you had the game turned off and left the stones.
>>59222341Yeah but then I turned the game on, picked up the stones, went outside for a minute and came back to more stones while she still wasn't there...
>>59222344She was there while you were outside. You can’t prove she wasn’t.
>>59222324What year are you typing from?
>>59222349Yeah she's so small I didn't notice her sneaking in and out...
