>Can't import recruited Pokemon back to any mainline games>Can't transfer rewards to any mainline game>No story>No progression>No world to explore>Only options are singles and doubles against 3rd world reddit bots hard stuck in ultra ball>You can lose Pokemon forever if transferred to Champions (depending on game)Why are players on leddit grinding thousands of matches for no reward? Somebody on there played 600 matches just to break top 10k but the title you get is the same as placing top 350k
>>59215876I don't know and don't care. Let the vgc crowd waste their time with it.
>>59215876>Why are players on ledditnobody cares, after the api change thats botted to hell
>>59215876>Pokemons get trapped in Champions hell forever.KEKAROOOOOOOOO!!! LOOOOOOL!!!Why the fuck would they ever do this?I am assuming it is so you can't export mons into Champions, alter their EVs, IVs and nature using the ingame currency and then export them back. But it's still silly lol. Thank god I don't play that crap.
>>59215876>why are players playing a game for the gameplay?campaignshitter moment
>>59215876It’s great and will continue to be amazing with years of support. I hate conservative fags entering fandoms they don’t belong in. Trump won the presidency leave our game alone
>>59215921>Why the fuck would they ever do this? Why do you keep making this thread then samefagging?
>>59215876I used all the season's VP to grind for some shit meme team recommended by a PokéTuber. It's true that the team is extremely fun to use and it's enjoyable to play with... but it's also not fun to just lose in team preview to people who rental coded a world tournament winning team and then have a hard time earning the VP necessary to buy new mons or movesets etc.I'm basically just cucked completely. I will NOT pay monthly membership fees!
>>59215926"Gameplay" is not that good and a ton of RNG. The fact that you have to use the meta team to win unlike something like Street Fighter where you can even win with Dan Hibiki if you are skilled enough, is prove of this.>>59215931>/pol/shit out of nowhere
>>59215945The meta thing is a real problem. Mainly because Incineroar is a literal fursuit. If Arcanine had the same stats and moveset I'd be pretty okay with the actual functionality of it... I just get mad every time I see a literal fursuit enter the field.I also prefer off meta picks in everything though. I'm trying to find the mons to create tournament winner teams that used something that wasn't Floette or Charizard-Y.
>>59215876>Can't import recruited Pokemon back to any mainline gamesThat's true?I just got a shiny
>>59215961They’re trapped in Champions. This is to ensure If you have rentals you like and keep you take up space so you’ll have to pay for more boxes. It’s smart
I think someone at Gamefreak has a fetish for trapping old Pokémon in hell.Just like when home was created and dexcut Pokémon were held ransom there.Imagine some fuck transferring a Pokémon from all the way at gen 3 to gen 9, only for it to end up imprisoned in Champions forever kek.
>>59215984That's actually fucked.
>>59215984Home Pokemon being trapped was a bug that was fixed shortly after launch. OP is a faggot
>>59215876I checked it out and there really should be something more. even all the accessories you can get are unbelievably npc. bland shirts. bland pants. everything to dress up your character is bland as fuck meanwhile battle revolution on wii had lots of ways to give your character some personality. pokemon devs could not put in an atom of effort if their lives depended on it
>>59216065The initial patch was to ban Floette genners and remove duplicates. Pullman still get trapped. You're retarded.
>>59215876Spent all the VP building a good singles team. Discovered that Singles is appallingly boring and half of teams are stall, which is AWFUL in a real game due to animations. Now not enough cash to build a doubles team :'(
>>59216117Going up in rank for singles is extremely easy >>59215876Did they fix quick claw yet? It activates like every turn for my opponent in almost every match. Probably my biggest complaint I have so far. Game is addictive and fun
>>59216106>>59216065>>59216013>>59215984Your Pokémon from Home can return back to Home from Champions, you retarded pieced of dumb shit.
>>59216106
>>59216117Go to sub menu, look at the achievements. You can collect points there very easy. There is currently a recruit line up that guarantees the top 31 used Pokemon will be part of each recruitment. This game is either you mirror match with top Pokemon and pray your accuracy is higher and you use protect at the right time, or you just lose. If you like repetition and no reward, doubles is for you. You seem to already not be a fan of that from singles though. Doubles is unfortunately MUCH worse.
>>59215876Meanwhile, some shitty indie devhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrEptyCbcvE
>>59216147And it looks like a shitty indie game wow
>>59216138That was for the ZA transfer to receive Mega Stones in the promo. New starter Pokemon and old starter Pokemon were interfering with each other. My point still stands. This is a chart directly from the Pokemon website showing you lose them forever. You also receive a warning if you read, which most people skip (obviously since you're posting)
>>59216142There are some different from normal tournament winners that CybertronVGC keeps showcasing. I definitely want to try the Golurk team he posted recently. Shame about the Incelroar but M Golurk is so cool.
>>59216158What the fuck are you talking about, Champions isn’t even on that chart. The way Champions communicates with Home isn’t even a transfer, no mon data in Home gets updated by Champions except to set the “visiting/visited Champions” flags.
>>59216158>You also receive a warning if you readI think you might be getting confused with Pokemon sent to ZA being trapped in ZA
>>59216202That only happens due to the "most recent gen" rule but that's always been the case since gen III. Pokemon recruited in Champions can only stay in Champions. If the player invests in paying actual money to collect shiny Pokemon or create teams, it will be for no reason since Champions is a stand alone and not considered a main line game. Battle pass items and Pokemon earned are also stuck in Champions. Pokemon Champions is just a battle simulator for autistic players who can't afford a real game.
>>59216177I actually haven't seen a Golurk team in Master Ball for about 2 weeks now. Golurk was rampant in Ultra Ball 2&1 though. Personally, the past week has been a ton of Aerodactyl sand teams and some Meowstics. Everyone seems to keep an Excadrill or Corviknight in pocket to deal with Floette and Clefable. For whatever reason I've also seen a few full Eeveelution teams and Charizard/Venusaur/Meganium/Whimsicott on repeat in Master Ball. I think that's people just playing for fun though since you can't derank down from Master Ball. Drought/tailwind has become too easy to counter, mostly due to being a day 1 strategy. Archaludon can still hold it's own if you can survive/counter 1-hit Body Press opponents.
>>59216323>Pokemon Champions is just a battle simulator for autistic players who can't afford a real game. You do know that the future of VGC is and forever will be in Champions, right?
>>59216440The future is now!!! Doubles are so daunting though. Why can’t we have a gen that focuses on doubles so the player is actually prepared for VGC
>>59216323>>59216440You will end up paying a lot more to play this shit than just for a mainline game or two if you want to make it anywhere.
>>59216440>You do know that the future of VGC is and forever will be in Champions, right?Yes, but I'm not one of these autistic VGC freaks trying to turn a hobby into a career. It was a fun few days getting into Master Ball, but once you hit Master Ball rank and realize there's no point in continuing, it loses all point. At least in lower ranks you can play whatever you want and still have a chance. I don't see how anyone could find doing this grind fun literally every month on season reset for years to come.
>>59216495That's the thing, you don't need to grind. The game is free an you can just play it when you feel like it.>>59216452They kinda tried it in SV DLC 2 but it wasn't really that hard anyway.>>59216462That's how it has been for the last 30 years. Now you have a chance even as f2p.
>>59216323>Pokemon recruited in Champions can only stay in ChampionsDid you just discover how rentals work in 2026?
>>59216713>Autistically trying to be a #1 Pokemon Champion long term as a grown adult >Shaming the new casual players on an anonymous boardYou sure showed them!
>>59216452>Why can’t we have a gen that focuses on doubles so the player is actually prepared for VGCI think the balance would be too long/difficult for a full Pokedex in an independent game focusing on doubles without the playing finding cheese strategies on day 1 that couldn't be patched without massive backlash. Plus after endless balancing they have to appease the fandom with a "good" game. It would be a massive project that would probably be thankless as usual since the usual "Pokemon reviewer" crowd are absolute trash. I would love a modern doubles game you could play offline if it had depth.
I was sure this same thread died and got re-posted. Don't have anything better to do, OP?
>>59215876>game gifts you a pokemon as a mystery gift>cant move it out>find a shiny>cant move it out eitherwhats the fucking point the only redeeming factor this shit has is the RSE battle theme being free
>>59217299>$70 for Pokemon Legends ZA>Beat game>Download Champions>Scroll down to "battle theme selection">Go to choose "ZA trainer theme">Get redirected to Nintendo eShop to purchaseThis is Korean MMO levels of greed.
>>59215921All Pokemon sent to Champions can be sent back to Home. What can't be sent back are any changes to those Pokemon in Champions.
>>59215941>Unique poster number in bottom of thread
>>59216420Rapid changes are pretty horrible for a gacha game, you can't even outright purchase VP so it just pure fucks you from playing for days.
jesus this game must be a tremendous success if someone feels the need to keep making these threads
>>59218650Are you complaining that the game doesn't have predatory monetization? What kind of clown world are you living in?
>>59218659I'm glad it doesn't but I'm pointing out that the delay is therefore inherent in the design. Because it's not even designed around a greed system, so it's an actual design choice.
>>59215876You CAN transfer Pokémon back to mainline games if you imported them from HOME. You can send them back to HOME via the recruiting menu.
>>59218650 >You can buy a package with ticketsThey get your money>You have to play to get VPThey get your engagement numbers through your play timeThe entire premise is built around talking from the player. No matter what, you're pressured into giving something up to the company.
>>59218659>>59218674VP costing 250 to change 1 move OR restat, and battles rewarding 300 VP only if you win (regardless of rank) is a weird and unsatisfying system. And I’m not going to retool a pokemon outside of Champions just to bring it back in, if this game is supposed to be THE game that makes it more streamlined to team build.
>>59219265Small EV adjustments are very cheap, you rarely completely upend a pokemon, I agree 250 per move is a lot.
>>59219265>And I’m not going to retool a pokemon outside of Champions just to bring it back inThat's the thing. They want you spending either in Champions with the packages, or out of Champions by purchasing a game to raise your Pokemon and transfer them in. It's about them taking your money/engagement time either way.Pokemon Company is not your friend. It's a business.
>>59218653Yep just like PLA
>>59219533>Legends Arceus had a storyline and catchable Pokemon>Champions has no point and caters to autists afraid leave their roomThey're a little different
>>59215876chess doesn't have a campaign, character development or open world. F tier game
>>59219828Online chess is also infested with jeets
>>59219828Online chess is ELO whores using move predictors to try and make a name for themselves. There's no way to avoid it in the modern day.
>>59219865It's just a coincidence that Indian players play way worse at live events. They just aren't used to playing in person!
>>59219914I know this post is a meme, but in FPS games this happens all the time. The cracked wifi home qualifier players always shit the bed at LAN competitions without cheats. I don't know why they don't do live LAN qualifiers to avoid this.
>>59220403In some cases, it really is nerves. There's a few examples like Ropz in Counter Strike who didn't show up on LAN with a crowd but did when he played in person on a controlled environment at the offices of PUG company. Also if you haven't played LAN before, it really is different to playing online. Even 10 ping to 50 is a big difference. Some games do have LAN qualifiers, again like Counter Strike, but will typically have an open qualifier to go to LAN for non-big name teams. For the bigger games, there's just no way to have an inclusive LAN qualifier for as many people as you'd want to have involved. Just too many teams and that would require too much hardware. If you're just inviting top teams to a qualifier, then you're just running an invite league with an additional stage (this happens too). Cost on LANs is actually really big for most games. CS only gets away with having as many LAN tournaments as it does due to all the gambling money pumping it up.
>>59216158again, from the last time you made this thread, this is a HOME issue, not a CHAMPIONS issueit also ONLY applies to subhumans who care about GO/let's go gameplay
>>59220426>it also ONLY applies to subhumans who care about GO/let's go gameplayThere are multiple Go/Let's Go threads actively going on at any given time. Champions is only in season 1 and already near the end of it's life cycle. You're insanely out of touch with the Pokemon community, and you're mad.
>>59215943>I'm basically just cucked completely. I will NOT pay monthly membership fees! The non-autistic player base in a nutshell.
