Double that time to an hour for quality control and a team of animators could crank out fully made soulful idle animations for every pokemon in a weekend. Give them two weeks and you could have stadium tier move animations and it would barely even move the needle on the budget. That's how little they care about the series now.

I think people forgot that Gyarados was supposed to be a dragon, not an eel.Back in gen 1 they were very autustic that ONLY Dragonite is allowed to be a dragon so Charizard and Gyarados got classified as flying instead.
