Is he the dumbest person in the entire Pokémon franchise?
Archie/Maxie
>>59232288The dumbest are Marnie and Penny.
>>59232302Maxie's plan was perfectly fine. People make it sound like he wanted to destroy all the oceans when he was explicitly against that. He wanted to control Groudon and use its power to create new land as needed. Groudon going rogue was not part of that plan.
>>59232664>Summon ancient god that almost destroyed the world trying to fight it's enemy.>It tries to destroy the world.Wow, who could have seen this coming? Fucker didn't even bring the master ball THAT he had.
>>59232288The 5 dumbest person on Pokemon are --> Archie > Gideon > Spinel > Lysandre > Rose.
>>59232664Isnt Hoenn big though? Its also mountainous so that kills Maxies argument that most of the land is too close to the sea
>>59232288Urbain and Taunie exist
>>59232686>ArchieHim and Maxie both.>GideonThe Team Rocket scientist from Leafgreen?>SpinelIs he in the games? I thought he was anime only?> LysandreMostly just genuinly completely batshit.
>Uses more than two PokemonHe's leagues above the countless idiots who use two Pokemo and then ask "Wow, how come I Lost?"
>>59232288Nah
>>59232288Dumbest? Maybe.Most irrational? Yes.
>>59232690His argument is that there’s not enough landmass for both people and Pokemon to share which you kinda see with Rustboro tunnel that stopped its completion because it would have ruined the habitat of the Pokemon who live there.
>>59232302>Archie>steals a meteorite>builds a machine to harness its power in order to stop the lava from Mt Chimney>the entire purpose being so that when the crater is empty it will be filled with rainwater which will give water Pokemon a place to liveSapphire Archie sure was something
>>59232288ONE DAY
>>59232697>Maxie both.At least I can understand Maxie wanting more lands for development, But I don't understand why Archie even wants to submerge the world underwater when his home region already has too much water! . >The Team Rocket scientist from Leafgreen? No, the first villain from Pokemon Horizons >Is he in the games? I thought he was anime only?I said dumbest people in pokemon , it does not need to be from just the game. >Mostly just genuinly completely batshit. He tried genocide in a world that already closer to an Utopia because of some random people did not say "thank you" to him.
>>59232288Taunie/Urbain exists
>>59232833>But I don't understand why Archie even wants to submerge the world underwater when his home region already has too much wateIt has like a indoor desert. It's fine to make it even more wet.>No, the first villain from Pokemon HorizonsAlright, fair enough. Honestly though, if you want to include the anime, Team Rocket wins.>He tried genocide in a world that already closer to an Utopia because of some random people did not say "thank you" to him.Yeah, I would call that insane behavior rather than just stupid.
>>59232302It’s really just Emerald Maxie being kind of dumb. They’re largely fine in every other instance.
>>59232780Did Archie even consider the impact this would have on Lavaridge's hot spring tourism industry?
>>59233429he simply does not care about tourism
>>59232288rose's dad was a coal miner that died when the mine he was working in collapsed. we also know that galar has a ton of coal mines. they SHOULD have made rose's character more centered on "i NEED to activate eternatus to use as an energy source so all the coal mines in galar will close down, that way no one else will die in a cave in like my dad did." it makes his insane rush to "solve the energy crisis" make more sense since it'd be more about trying to gain closure of his dad's death rather than "uhhh this will be a problem 1000 years from now lmfao">>59232833archie wanted to expand the sea because he hated the current path land based creatures were heading down. he felt that humans and land-dwelling pokemon were too destructive and, if they were allowed to progressing the way they currently were, they'd eventually destroy the planet. meanwhile, water dwelling creatures live in harmony with the planet and are not destructive to it. he thought that if he expanded the sea, it would disrupt the lives of land-dwelling creatures enough that the course of natural evolution would change. the population of land creatures would shrink because there wouldn't be enough land/resources to sustain them, meanwhile the population of water based creatures would increase, and eventually evolve into new life that would hopefully take better care of the planet than their predecessors. that's why hoenn has multiple references about irl evolution, such as slateport museum talking about how life originally started in the ocean billions of years ago until some creatures eventually evolved to have lungs and crawled out of the water onto land, and the regi puzzle requiring a relicanth and a wailord (relicanth is based off irl coelacanth fish, which are some of the oldest lifeforms on the planet and wailord is obviously based off a whale, one of the newest evolved sea-based lifeforms to exist, hence why they're mammals and have lungs despite still living in the water)
>>59232302they were pure charisma especially Archie, in the manga
>>59232681>it's
>>59233789>i NEED to activate eternatus to use as an energy source so all the coal mines in galar will close down, that way no one else will die in a cave in like my dad didNow see, that makes a lot more sense and gives Rose a real motivation, not only for desperately wanting to solve the energy problem but also for being a dumbass and messing with things beyond his capability to handle. If Sword/Shield wasn't a baby game for babies, maybe they could have actually gone with that.
>>59232288yes if he waited 1 day, rose would of had the champion and former champion to help out with his energy solution to a problem thats 1000 years in the future.
>>59233950Hard to sell me on this motivation when he was a total asshole to the only kid who looked up to him.
