All being way stronger than what Greninja can output to neutral targets and having better utility too.Also you’re spending a Mega Slot to just speed tie a non-mega in Dragapult, and you are still outsped by Alakazam (who kept nasty plot), Beebrill, and Aerodactyl, and also most Scarfers too.

It’s faster than Greninja, almost as strong as Cinderace, and and its Grass move of choice has a built in anti ID, Screens, and Intimidate in the form of guaranteed crits.Why not just give Meowscarada something like Magic Guard, which would be good on it while not being overbearing as pre-nerf Protean, and additionally fits Meowscarada thematically even more? I don’t know. I don’t work for GameFreak or understand their obsession with making trios being unbalanced.
