>>59235689But something i believe pokemon does really well that alot of it's competition fails at is having a good type chart by comparison most games only have a one way weakness chart or they're often just a triangle and if it's any bigger it's often very unintuitive and alot of games have really mediocre monster design that often doesn't mesh well with the rest of the world, the type interaction also work really well in the general sphere of RPGs since alot of them tend to get very boring and tedious halfway through the game when encounters just get cleared for free where in Pokemon encounters are also ways to add to your party and clicking a weakness to clear an encounter is still more than what most similar games end up requiring from the player while also keeping better pacing, as well as pokemon just has alot of ways you can enjoy the games and alot of the criticism towards pokemon if it was taken seriously would severely hamper this.
