>just dump unburden for sharpness and add like 50 moves and and andfuck you, keeping unburden and giving it belly drum would do so much more for base sceptile than any other suggestion I've seen120 speed ain't what it used to be but with an unburden boost it's incredible, and base 85 attack is pretty paltry on its own but it's downright solid at +6 with sceptile's physical movepoolmega sceptile, on the other hand does need some major help to stay competitive with other megas, and given that audino still has healer and steelix still has sand force (to say nothing of all the dogshit new megas), I don't think help is on the way

Hoenn Starters have Megas so they can be dripfed later. Galar starters have G-Maxxes for when they start adding the other gimmicks or if Legends Galar ends up dropping.It's all about the dripfeed

There is an armored piece at the tip of its tail, and Champions homogenized a lot of Ability descriptions, that is good enough justification for me. 145 Speed that you cannot hit with priority moves like Ice Shard or even Fake Out sounds good to me.
