What i am up to?
I skipped the whole seventh generation a decade ago, soon i will recover it with Ultra Moon. It is decent compared to the modern sloppy games?
>>
You'll actually have to think occasionally, compared to every other post-DS title where you simply do not ever once even in post-game. Hell, you'll actually have to do it in the campaign which is rare for anything aside from the GameCube games. I recommend taking your time to do the little sidquests too, those are rare in Pokemon games, so appreciating them while they're there is important.

absolute kino

The cutscenes are fucking dogshit, even compared to the already dogshit SM. The ludo mostly makes up for it if you haven't experienced SM already, but it's still miserable.
>>
>>59241866
Dogshit cutscenes where your MC always keeps a neutral face which makes you wonder if they aren't actually a Ditto

you'll live

>>59241866
Tedious cutscenes. Framerate issues.

Shitty cutscene aside how its the difficulty? I Hope its Better than X/Y. I remember these games being insulting easy, altought still not on the level of gen 8 onwards

You will get filtered very hard.
>how its the difficulty?
Hardest mainline games.
>>

>Hardest mainline games.
There is one single "hard" fight where you need to turn on your brain.
Otherwise, no.
>>
>>59241956
>you will get filtered
If you ignore the z crystals, exp share, pelago, roto loto, refresh, and such that trivialize the game but the game never tells you how broken they are until you've already maximized your main's friendship.
>>
>>59242024
Retard. They are objectively the hardest mainline games. It's not just the Necrozma fight. Random route trainers have EV trained pokemon and bust out Z-moves.
>>59242025
I wasn't referring to the difficulty. OP will get filtered by the story focus.
>>
>>59242024
The totems use meta strats and so do the route leaders. Do you mean to tell us you didn't fight all the trainers?
>>
>>59242045
>objectively
>>
>>59241946
It’s “hard” if you’re a brainlet. Gen 7 made X items give two stages of buffs instead of one so it’s very easy to sweep past the bosses that people gush over.
>>
>>59242128
don't use them then
>>
>>59242135
sure, he can do that if he wants. But pretending these games are hard if you ignore what the game gives you is just being disingenuous
>>
>>59242140
just don't use them, it's thats simple anon
>>
>>59242045
>retard pretends buff control is some peak superboss
do you even play other jrpgs?
>>
>>59242167
>other jrpgs
>moving the goalpost
Thanks for proving my point.
>>
>>59242207
>moving the goalposts
Calm down schizotard. I just find it funny how using a basic mechanic is considered "peak" for poketards.
>>
>>59241866
If it wasn't for the tedious cutscenes I'd wager Gen 7 would've been considered the best nu-gen of all time
>>
>>59241866
Gen 7 was one of the best gens imo.
Yes they're linear and cutsene heavy but they have some of the most fun in game battles.

>You'll actually have to think occasionally

You might as well just watch your handler play if you actually think this.
