It's too blatant. The sex appeal of a Pokemon is a design that you can interpret with whatever character you want (plus for some people the appeal of "corrupting the innocent") and the different ways in which you can sexualise their design, so when you get given a mon that is explicitly meant to be sexy and is tied to a specific fetish it kills a lot of the broad appeal to grab the lowest common denominator.Lycanroc gets the most porn of any Gen 7 mon cause it's just a dog. It could be masculine, feminine, feral, anthro, with tits, no tits, dog dick, human dick, shy, smug, slutty, whatever the hell you fucking want. But Salazzle will always just be "the sex lizard"

It's also not helped by the fact that gen 7 is jam packed with a bunch of other waifumon so there's already heavy competition and the fact that Salandit has a 1/8 chance of being female making it less likely for players to naturally have a Salazzle on their in game team. >What can you do to fix her?Change Salandit to having a 7/8 chance of being female. Have her be the ace of one of the major characters in the anime and make her overly affectionate to her trainer or Pikachu so that people will ship them together. Then give her a new mega evolution and throw the male Salandit a bone with a new evolution.
