As much as idiots here want to ignore, Nintendo launch a revision model of whatever console Pokémon's due to launch on shortly before Pokémon's system debut (which generally happens just over two years after they system itself launches). '25 > '27 (likely Nov) is two years, Switch Lite launched a month prior to SS, 2DS the same day as XY, DS Lite launched 6 months before DP in Japan (and as a result of reception changed how Nintendo marketed their revision units to best utilise pokémon's system selling power). All of those systems launched about 2 years after their bigger brothers' debuts, I don't see anything different happening this Gen.

L: Z-A didn't change, because A) it was planned to BE a '24 release until Nintendo killed S2 release in '24 and B) there was no great time to afford devhours to fundamentally changing L: Z-A before they needed to hand it over for its actual release, unlike with WW and the three years that will have elapsed between Teraleak happening and Game Freak NEEDING to send the game gold, to get on shop shelves in time for Black Friday.
