They both represent the concept of waste so the comparison is completely warented, I think. Both are cool and I like them both (Muk is definitely cooler, though). Magnemite is popular, Chandelier is popular, Claydol is a quirky little guy with some fans and no haters ect. And then there's Klingklang and Vanillish which everyone hates and are always brought up as examples as why objectmons suck Imagine making a design so bad that you made the concept unpopular. It's like if people insisted that Pokémon with fire tails all suck because Magmar exists
