Other than having the definitive main story and having added BF, it's not like it's such a massive improvement over the base games like Platinum was for DP. If ORAS had incorporated Emerald elements in the main story and added BF, I actually would have preferred it over Emerald. At least it fixed the rivals and gave them a satisfying conclusion.
