i just don't think her value is going to drop at all, even in the short term. she's on another tier of rarity compared to other supporters, as the only other giant pack is fantastical parade and it had no supporters with any staying power. with how rare she is there's going to be much less people incidentally pulling her, and when sceptile and lucario stop being fotm there won't be anything else worth pulling the pack for, so the vast majority of newly pulled korrinas will be from people looking to keep her.

there's no precedent for a high-demand card that's essentially twice as rare as similar cards, but if i were a betting man i wouldn't bet on that meaning a low value rather than high.

I think that she will be highly valued, but there are some factors that slightly devalue her.
From a collector's perspective, she loses value, because she isn't from KANTO.
Plus, she only works in fighting decks.
If I were to guess, I would put her at low A-tier once everything settles.
The low pull rate is deceptive. The pull rate for people looking to keep her is halved, but for people just pulling for whatever (i.e. the people that would trade her away), the rate is exactly the same (they would have gone 50/50 on the 2 packs of a regular set).

I think that the pull rate note is significant.
It means that market supply is basically unchanged.
Given that most people trying to pull her even from a 2-pack set would fail anyway, demand doesn't actually increase all that much.

That's around when my pulls went to shit too, but I never spent money. My theory is that now that pull rates were originally higher than indicated, but now that they've got their loyal playerbase and sunk cost working in their favor, they're fine returning rates to normal to push players to spend more.

The day they add a grass OR fighting energy rapper is the day that Flygon turns into a god. But for now, it’s just an inconsistently decent but fun deck to play.

I went to my inventory to double check, I have 28 2*s registered to Crimson Blaze and on, I believe only 7 of them were pulled. 4 of them were WP'd, and 17 of them I had to trade for. I also traded one of the (traded) Mega Gardevoir for a Mega Lucario, so technically I had 29 total.

Kind of fuckery. First (surprisingly) good Dragon type in forever, and that's purely off the fact that it passively deals 40 damage spread across every turn and can Cyrus snipe kill almost anything if it's fully online.

I've had good results playing it with Goomy and Oricorio support (very similar build to the Greninja/Oricorio/Goomy/Deceduleye deck). You really just want to jam your opponent for an extra turn or two - that's usually all you need. If Vibrava did 20 to every Pokemon instead of 10 then Memory Light would have been a great savior for it as well in case you get fucked over by energy generation.

In any case, I'm actually having fun with it. There are definitely times where I get ONLY grass energies for the whole match to the point where it makes you question if you accidentally fuckin turned an energy off the last time you modified the deck (btw fuck them for adding an extra "ARE YOU SURE YOU WANNA MAKE THIS DECK WITHOUT GOOMY OR ORICORIO ENERGIES???" prompt every fucking time. Great UX designers...) But it IS rewarding when it comes out and essentially applies Poison to the entire team at once just for showing its face.
