I have 1 NSO voucher sitting unused on my account and it's expiring in 2 months, should I use it on one of the Pokémon games I don't already have (already got Scarlet and both Legends games) or get something else? How are the Let's Go games and NuPokémon Snap?

P.S.: I already have Astral Chain, every Xenoblades, Metroid Dread, Smash, Odyssey and BotW/TotK (though BotW is on Wii U). As far as non-Pokémon games go I was looking at TWEWY or Bayonetta 3 but I'm not sure.

The Let's Go games are actually really good
Also SwSh is underrated but I'd still recommend Let's Go over them
>>
Subnautica is on switch, isn't it?

It's not part of the voucher program, only first party Nintendo games and a couple third party exclusives are.

>NuPokémon Snap

Sadly, Switch 2 games aren't part of the program
Here's the complete list of eligible games:

It is but then you run out of stuff to do in like 40 hours and get annoyed that the game isn't built to be played like a normal game and instead is a bunch of daily rng. The worst part is while you have fun, you realize the part of you that was willing to spend a lot of time making unique and inventive block houses died years ago when you stopped playing Minecraft and you're never getting that back.

Wish they'd make a good Fire Emblem game again

>should I use it on one of the Pokémon games I don't already have
No lol. Bayo 3 is unfortunately buns but TWEWY is a far better choice than any of the Pokemon games on Switch

>get annoyed that the game isn't built to be played like a normal game and instead is a bunch of daily rng

There's nothing wrong with the let's go games if you haven't played KAAAAAAANTOOO in a while. They are a slightly different experience since they were trying to pull in the pokemon go crowd so the catching mechanics may be a turn off.

The Let's Go games are Pokemon Yellow remakes with Eevee having the exclusives the original Yellow did not.

After you're through the main adventure, Gym leaders can be rematched once daily and there are 151 Pokemon masters you have to figure out how to beat (just grind or have a cheap move set or mega evolution)

Sword and Shield are more or less traditional Pokemon games. The DLC adds some fun stuff but of course you'll have to buy that too.

I think I got Pikmin 4 and one of the Xenoblades with mine. Pretty sure most other 3rd party games go on sale pretty often. Not sure how easy it is to find the Pokemon Games in physical form, so that might be one of your best options in terms of voucher value.

Nintendo Switch cartridge reprints make Pokemon in particular a very interesting thing for collecting.

Brilliant Diamond / Shining Pearl base versions come with a game that can just get to the credits, but then there are revisions that have the latest updates.
Sword and Shield have versions with all DLC but are missing a bugfix patch
Scarlet and Violet have a version with all DLC but the cartridge was rushed out for the Christmas season, missing the second half of the DLC which would require a download. Later reprints include the DLC on cart but the packaging still shows it requires a download
Legends Arceus have a later version that includes the update with extra postgame stuff.
Let's Go didn't have any real updates

Pikmin 3 Deluxe or Hyrule Warriors (not the BotW ones) if you want something actually worth playing.

Mario Odyssey, or Mario 3D World

After searching for a cheap physical copy of Shield for so long I think this thread convinced me to just get it digitally.

In Amazon Japan you can buy the game + DLC for like 50usd. I have my Switch hacked and I can pirate it but I always get the urge to get big games, specially RPGs, legally. I feel wrong when playing a long game pirated.

I mean, a CODE of the game + DLC to redeem in the eShop.
You can change your Nintendo account region to japanese, redeem the code, change it back to american and the game will stay there and you can even redownload it and shit.

Get TWEWY and fuck the rest of the Pokemon games
>>

Original or Neo? Are any of those part of the program?
>>
>>59254236
I heard the Switch version wasn't as good as the DS original.
>>
>>59254302
Yeah, the game WAS made for the DS hardware. On Switch everything feels like a bandaid that barely stays up.
