>>59252468Anon, they don't care about it being true lorewise, all they care about it being broken. Look at Mega Heatran stats and it's typing. It's a Pokémon with INSANE stats that would make any special attacker blush in embarrassment with that bulk. However, it's typing gave it an Achille's Heel. 4x weakness to ground is very rough since everyone and their mother carry earthquake. People want it to have earth eater, to not only get rid of it's weakness, but to also give it a way to heal itself in battle. This leave it with only to 2 weakness, fighting and water, with water going to be on the weaker side since it had an increase to it's Special defense. Those guys just want to watch the world burn.

And while that is going on, Hawlucha is hitting you with increasingly stronger Body Presses. If it gets too low, Hawlucha can Roost up and reset your progress. And also Hawlucha gets Encore too, so it can Encore lock you into a move it resists and get easy Stamina boosts that way. AND in Doubles, you can use a partner with Bullet Seed or Beat Up to give you instant +4 Def.

HJK still crashes if the opponent protects or switches to a Ghost type, and is only 10 BP stronger than HJK.And honestly even Reckless would be better for HJK. All No Guard does is increase accuracy of HJK to 100%, which is only 1% more than Wide Lens. Meanwhile Reckless would give HJK and Brave Bird a lot of damage output. Damage output it’d always see since Accuracy is still luck based and every time you hit could have happened anyways.
