All non-aquatic Pokémon whose models float in combat should have built-in Ground immunity. Decidueye should also have an inherent immunity regardless of his typing.

Confusion, Taunted and Attract should have a status icon in battle and count as status for the purpose of hex. Having a status condition shouldn't prevent you from having others. Freeze effects on ice moves should be switched to frostbite, and actual freeze should trigger if a frostbitten pokemon is hit with the status a second time, or if it's a water type. The same should happen with poison, upgrading to badly poisoned if they're poisoned a second time.

>>59259140this has always been a dumb take because you're still going to have to have it written down somewhere that it's immune to ground and if you took it to the logical endpoint of "if you look at it it looks like it should do that" then you'd get other weird stuff like swift swim on any fish being built-in or iron barbs on any mon with spikes or whatever. The real answer is right in front of us: 2 or 3 abilities at once, and add an extra ability or two to every current mon. Can split some previously conjoined abilities this way too, like all the expressly anti-intimidate abilities can be split off again and calyrex's abilities can be split like they should have been, among others.
