I dont have experience with Hero shooters, so I'll use TF2 as a reference.
Scovillain.
Primary Fire: Seed Bomb. Fire large seed projectiles that deal aoe damage on contact with enemy. If projectile misses, seeds will roll for a bit and detonate for -70% damage.
Secondary Fire: Flamethrower. Functions like a flamethrower, dealing 4 damage twice per second to enemies caught in blast. Leaves targets burned for up to 8 seconds, depends on how long they were caught in the direct flames. Burns deal 2 damage twice per second.
Any allies hit by either attack get a Spicy Extract boost, giving them a 50% damage increase to their attacks for 4 seconds.
When 450 points of damage are dealt, Scovillain can temporarily Mega Evolve for 8 seconds, giving himself a 50% damage boost, and changing his primary/secondary firing moves to Solar Beam and Overheat, respectively. Both function the same, dealing massive amounts of damage when used, at the cost of a 70% movement penalty when fired. Any opponents that attack Mega Scovillain become burned for 8 seconds.
