It's really well done in every way.The only problem is that it is a Pokémon, and Pokémon are frens, letting your Paras turn into a zombie feels fundamentally wrong and an offence to everything the franchise claims to be about.
every time I've ever played a gen 1 game I've caught paras as one of my first mons with the intention of using it throughout the game and then get filtered when it can do absolutely nothing the entire game

Give it slightly higher physical stats instead of special this time and a little bit of speed (not much, maybe like 65 or 75 or so) and an odd typing, like rock/psychic or rock/grass, and you'd have an interesting alternative to probopass: frailer but physical and gives people a real decision between them in-game
