It’s kind of bittersweet. I’ve been wanting this on and off for a decade, and now that I have it it’s odd. The music box music that plays when you close out made me tear up.

That said I cleared out two completely stuffed games (as well as a used Ruby cart with two full boxes, filling 15 of the 25 jumbo Pokemon Box boxes). I suddenly have a ton of room in Emerald and FireRed to catch stuff again I haven’t had in years. Not to mention I got Mirage Island this month.

I’m still trying to beat the Battle Factory, but now I have the options to like, breed me a decent team for the rest of the Frontier now that I have room. I left my Breloom with spore and false swipe in Emerald along with an HM slave and my playthrough team. Any ideas?

That one apparently cant be transferred to Gen 4 sadly enough. And I don’t have THAT many mons. (Also apparently the rewards are per cartridge, so despite having around 900 Pokemon in Box I don’t have the 500 Mon egg as Emerald deposited 420 and FRLG around 400)

All of them seem designed to be used on playthroughs hence being Eggs which I guess is neat. The Swablu with False Swipe and Skitty with Pay Day would be useful early game for catching and extra cash, but would be replaced like mid way through I feel like for most people.

I could see ExtremeSpeed Zigzagoon being decent though, apparently it pairs well with Belly Drum

Y’know a lot of the time glitches and text errors are fixed in time for the PAL release, making those versions superior.

I’ve already got a Breloom I breed to have False Swipe and then leveled up before evolving to get Spore. (And a Parasect on FR)

I don’t have enough mons to get the Pichu, but I figure I’ll get the 500 egg rewards for both games soon enough just from breeding. (And I have a third initial one from a used Ruby game that had 60 Pokemon on it?)

Figure the Swablu and Skitty would be cool for a playthrough tho. I have heard some people say the Extreme Speed Ziggy can be broken if you give it belly drum tho
