there are 28 mons in OU though. And others like registeel, regice, kingdra, and raikou who also get used sometimes. I'm not trying to pull the "actually you can use whatever you want" card but it's more diverse than you make it out to be
oh I forgot regirock too. I haven't played Gen 3 OU in about a year but at that point it was already a 20 year old developed metagame so I'm guessing shit hasn't changed that much
