Clickbaiting YouTubers who just jump on trends or controversial topics that get them views aren't representative of reality. No matter how many "[Pokémon game] is THE WORST!!!" videos they make, the majority of actual players don't give a single fuck. Kids and casuals (the main audience) just want to play the cute game with the silly creatures. They don't care that the graphics are bad (kids grow up playing ugly games like Roblox anyway) or that the performance sucks. They don't believe the fake outrage about the games being "full of game-breaking glitches" because they don't get exposed to the same 10 videos and screenshots that bandwagoning retards post on social media. They just play the game, which works as intended in the vast majority of cases. And it's a fun game. Otherwise it wouldn't sell. People enjoy it, simple as.

Bad story, mid graphics, introduced DLC and the anime was shit except for the last few episodes.But Gen 9 is pretty solid. Sure the graphics look terrible, but you cant deny the story is the strongest its been since Sun/Moon, arguably better imo. Same applies to ZA, of which the game improves on SV.The only thing Id say Pokemon is really failing on is side content, not just in mainline, but in spin offs. Pokopia is the only game weve had, and nothing else as appeared, compare that to Gen 4-5 era where we had countless spin offs. Were they good? not all of them, but there was content, it felt like an era.

He'd been trying to replicate the feeling of Kanto his entire career instead of naturally trying to expand the franchise. That's why Pokemon stagnated after Gen I and didn't blow up again until GO. And then his attempt to tie in with that success were... The worst possible remakes of KantoSomething tells me Wind and Waves might not suck as hard as prior games but still not be the perfect game people want
