Everyone loves the evo, while Ledian is still a shitter flop since it'll be shit even with evoilite. And that's only if it gets the Farigarif treatement. More likely than not it would be Dudunspared and the evo would be as much of a joke as the orignalt. Either why Ledian is still worthless fodder.

Has a non zero change of being promoted to shillmon like Meganium, Mawile, Kangaskan, Froslass, Delphocx, Scovillian, etc, and ending up being worth something and forever respected. Though it has a small chance of getting skibidied like the gatr, 20^6 like Pyrorar, Alazakam's bitch like Meowstic, Broken by the mold like Emboar, or some other humiliation ritual.

Ariados is god damn lucky it got the movepool it did and a format that favours it in comparison. Ariados was just as much of a joke for most of history as ledian
