I don't know the story with SV because it was too laggy for me to actually enjoy playing, combined with the awful bugs in that game, but I honestly appreciate when games can get into some less pleasant concepts. It makes the game feel more alive. Like Pokemon Colosseum had it quite well. You saw areas that looked like slums, there were prostitutes in the game, and your character is like a vigilante considering how they blew up a building at the beginning of the game, and can steal Pokemon from other trainers.
