Never because its a super niche genre nowdays, arguebly even more niche than shumps. Look at steam store when is the last time you see an indie pinball game released? Pikachu and kantoooomons slapped on the cover can't even save pokemon pinball from flopping in TPC's eyes

The last big one was probably 2018 with Yoku's Island Express, but there's been smaller ones like Pinball Spire in 2024. I'm waiting for Dwarrf to release right now, but that's admittedly more like peggle with pinball bumpers than true pinball.
Anyway, nothing's stopping them from just rereleasing either of the existing two pokemon pinballs on switch vc to gauge interest.
