lego has been a joke since they canceled bionicle back in 2010/2011. They were already on the way down since about 07. There's absolutely no reason to stick with the official schlock considering how much cheaper and often better-built their competitors are.
Also, the set "designers" phone everything in, whether it's using large, dedicated pieces, stickers/prints for everything, or making things that don't even attempt to actually conform to the shape/design of what they're imitating. Someone post the pikachu comparison image.
Just absolutely awful stuff. Anyone into lego should abandon it and anyone even loosely interested should avoid it.
