Understand this is NOT confirmed, this is stuff I’ve heard discussed during early planning/concept talks around the Pokémon MMO project. A lot of it can change, get cut, or never make it past concept phase. Some parts sound way more likely than others though.Players will be able to choose between Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh as their starting pointsProfessors and NPCs from each region will give out missions/tasks throughout the game. Some are basic progression stuff, others are supposedly tied to legendaries, rare items and moreMissions may require groups or can be done soloFactions are a huge part of the MMO. (Think Pokémon GO teams) You can join factions, trade, run raids/missions together, form alliances, rivalries, and battle for control of locations. One of the bigger ideas being discussed is factions being able to set up their own Pokémon Centers, Poké Marts, and even Gyms across regions. Other factions can challenge/take them over.Gym Leaders would supposedly be actual players, not NPCs. If someone steps down, another player takes over the Gym.Elite 4 members are also supposedly planned to be real players that rotate over time, but I don’t know how they’d be selected. You can apparently switch factions whenever you want, betray factions, help rivals, etc. There’s also supposedly an NPC-controlled “evil team” faction players can join. You don’t need to join a faction at all, but naturally that makes things harder unless people trust you.Full day/night and weather systems are planned. Certain Pokémon only appearing during specific times, weather conditions, days, etc.As for Gen 11:The region will be South Africa, with Madagascar as part of the map.The MMO and Gen 11 are both massive projects and exciting Pokémon games they’ve attempted.Release window 2031/2032, but that can change.Could be released on an upgraded Switch 2 hardware or possibly a whole new hardware.
Retard.
