There should be changes in the dialog to show that time has passed. Most people don't repeat the same exact lines word-for-word like that.

>>59281410I preferred it to BW actually cause of the better dex. Had some soul in it though gen5 is not my fav. Loved the movie cyoa studios though. That was fun and filled with soul and the PWT. Nate was horrible design but Rosa/Mei was alright.

>>59281410I do wish BW2 had done more to change up its mid-game, once you finish Castelia Sewers everything up to Lentimas Town is just a truncated version of BW's mid-game. I get that Team Plasma in BW2 doesn't quite have as much of a force as it did in BW but the 1st Frigate encounter is such a downgrade from Cold Storage.I really wish they'd made it so instead you went through Clay Tunnel and a bit of Mistralton Cave to end up on a wholly new part of Route 7 to get to Mistralton City. Have the bridge collapse in Chargestone Cave be an outright broken bridge and the only way to get through that cave now is to use Strength from the Mistralton side to create a new path back through the lower levels.That sort of thing, I like when BW2 gets the opportunity to do its own thing separate from BW like going through Undella and Lacunosa, the new locations in the South-West and the new Victory Road, but it does come off as lesser to BW when it tries to go through the same beats as BW albeit with less character development, a weaker antagonist force and removing locations.
