I'm not so concerned with powercreep it's more that I don't like how when you have a move the opponent is weak to, the opponent practically always loses. super effect moves shouldn't be THAT strong compared to neutral moves, it should be less so that people are forced to strategize a little more and not just "if i click this button i win"

Dual-types have 1.25x STAB for their secondary type, their primary STAB is still at full strength.

Downsides:
