I went in blind too, did not look up anything regarding these games before playing them, did not know much aside from some Johtomons (because I watched the anime as a kid)My only complaint is that the start is really boring and tedious. Mainly because most of the Johto pokemon suck balls and don't really motivate you to go around and explore. By the end of the game my team was Starter+legendaries+Kantomons
