I cant go back to the older games after playing Scarlet, Arceus and Z-A. They are too slow, grinding, junky and clunky. I can't pull out my Pokemon in the field and interact with them in full 3D whenever I want to so I barely feel attached to them.

Only hyper autists who can't feel emotions properly disagree. It's one of the main reasons why the 3D games have been much more successful.

Gen 5 games are super quick from what I've experienced recently.
