I never understood why /vp/ hates this guy, its a top tier design and worthy evolution for Electabuzz. I understand the hate for Magmortar or Rhyperior, but I would expect Electivire to be a fan favorite.

>>59292605I don't hate it but the anime kinda highlighted a downgrade from Elekid and Electabuzz to Electivire. Paul's Electivire in it's preevolutions were very expressive and helped accentuate its asshole personality. When it evolves it has the same constant expression no matter what which makes it so much more boring. This isn't really a problem in the games, but it did influence my opinion on Electivire as a whole.
