I think slight physical differences between different individuals of the same Pokemon species would be an interesting addition to Pokemon.I know they do this sometimes, but sparingly and infrequently.Picrel is a good example of how the dynamic can be interesting with Absols, another idea is that you could have a fat Pikachu and a lean one at the same time.
