>>59529533You can tell it's a fakemon because this fossilmon is actually well thought and inspired instead of a generic animal for manchildrens
>>59529536Fuck off back to Twitter Yawnfag.
>>59529539Did yawnie got doxxed finally?
>>59529533Ew that yellow thing is gross
>>59529533JirenDAMN, another GAD?! That's so COOL.
Why have we never collectively made a Fakemon romhack guys?
>>59531066PATO TONTO
Will there be any chance of seeing this thing in another gen?
>>59529533This one's based on Jesus
>>59532020>Back shell>Helmet>Shield gimmick It was revamped to Chesnaught, so unlikely.
>>59532029In an effort to represent as many fish from the Great Lakes as possible in the Grovota region i've made a pokemon that's got abunch of forms based on different fish (and the 4 humors/directions on a medicine wheel)
>>59531066How do you even make an appropriate evolution to a pokemon based on a phrase about "Good things won't just be handed down to you, you have to work for it"Since that was the original point of Farfetched in Red and Blue. You can easily trade a Spearow for a Farfetched and it's stronger than the current bird pokemon you have access to. But all the other bird pokemon can later on evolve to become way stronger than Farfetched so he's not good in the long run
>>59532606where the grand line one piece fishmon?
>>59532115also Hisuian Sliggoo and Goodra
>>59532606How is this one pokemon with a bunch of forms instead of 4 pokemon?
>>59532743It's like Oricorio but it can't change the form its in. It's a bit of a cop-out to avoid flooding the dex of this region with fish Pokémon, but I wanted a Pokémon that changed form based on the lakes anyway. They all have the same blue used for highlights and facial fins that resemble facial hair. The Northern and Southern forms share spotted patterns and the Eastern and Western forms share striped patterns.
>>59532606>Water/IceWouldn't Ice/Poison make more sense? And we need more aquatic pokemon that aren't Water type.
>>59533485Originally was ice/posion, but I thought the multiple forms thing was more interesting and it made more sense for all the forms to have that water type in common. It also only really gets you sick if you eat it, so it wouldn't learn many poison type moves.

>>59529536>A jarring highlighter-colored blatant pharaoh and cartoon spinosaurus hybrid for no reason is well thought outYour fakemon sucks ass. Tyrantrum looks like its from another franchise next to it
>>59532606>>59534975
>>59534975>>59535287oh shit sorry, I thought the blue bar was Waterghost/dragon fishmon is cool
>>59535267Yawnfag gets mind broken over fossil Pokemon.
>>59529533>Vertigo from Primal RageBased
>>59535287I do have non-water type aquatic pokemon for the region, i'll probably have another by the time i'm done.
>>59535267>>blatant pharaoh and cartoon spinosaurus hybrid for no reason>Spinosaurus type species first discovered in Egypt and literally named after the country>Egyptian Pharaoh theme mirrors Tyrantrum's European king themeTook 2 minutes of Googling to figure this out
Rock/Ghost fella
>>59535391>Being discovered there means its endemic there, especially since egypt shared landmass with rest of africaLooks like those 2 minutes werent enough
>>59534971Dumbo Squid was a favorite animal as a kid, look at that little guy
I'm having a hard time coming up with a 4th member of my starter lineup. I've always been a fan of the idea that there are unofficial starters and replacements ever since it happened to Ash in the anime when he got Pikachu. And I really do like hoopsandnhiphop's videos where he created one for each region. I want to do that for my fakemon region... And I'm surprisingly struggling with it. My first idea was I wanted to make an Electric/Fighting type bear. No real plan just vibes, I wanted to make a big hulking bruiser. But unsatisfied I pivoted to something else: a porcupine. Still an Electric Type and tied into my school theme by being like a stereotypical punk girl. I didn't get very far in designing this one until I was once again disappointed. Just got some names really and this bad art of the first stage. As it evolves it was supposed to get more feminine and edgy. Any ideas on what I could pivot too next?
>>59529533I love all the details on that Spinosaurus: the aquatic elements on the tail, the cobra-like hood, the pharaonic headdresses, and the contrast with Tyrantrum—a European king versus an African pharaoh. I can even picture an ancient Poké-Egypt that worshipped the mummified remains (a natural mummification) of a Spinosaurus that died while sleeping in a sphinx-like pose, thereby giving rise to the myth. It’s similar to Bastiodon, whose skull inspired the creation of fortresses. It’s a shame that GF would never accept a fan design for their games.
>>59532663>How do you even make an appropriate evolution to a pokemon based on a phrase about "Good things won't just be handed down to you, you have to work for it"
>>59535298Sorry for what?
>>59538332Oh no this is adorable!
>>59538332>cobra-like hoodIf it were canon, Poison/Rock would be interesting to avoid another Rock/Water fossil and as a reference to the death of CleopatraOr even better, a Rock/Ground type with Water immunity—that way, it could swim through both water and sand.
>>59539496I love the rodent
>>59541375ThanksRodent is a Japanese dormouseBird is a nightjarAnd the bug is a great purple emperor caterpillar
>>59529533Generic and uninspired, something like Giganotosaurus and an aztec/incan emperor would be a better counterpart to to Tyrantrum if you have to stick to the large theropod+ruler gimmic.
>>59529533really good design desu, whoever did this really understands the balance that goes into making a pokémon
I feel like this might fit better as an UB but I think it fits the pokemon world well enough as just a regular mon. I'm thinking about the idea of Ultra Beasts but they represent common fan-types, and are "untyped" with abilities that make them act as if they have types that don't exist. So this guy would be "rubber" type for example. (Actually untyped, with the "Rubber" ability making it resist electric attacks and be weak to fire attacks for example)
>>59542751>I feel like this might fit better as an UBThis could be said about a lot of your fakemon, especially those with a inorganic inspiration. It might just be the style but also a lot of the info you give with them don't feel very pokémon-y. >>59539496You got the evos for them?
>>59544807That's fair, alot of my favorite Pokémon have been objectmon so I'm probably doing a bit too much of those. For the descriptions, I like including stuff that feels like it could be bullshit like when the Pokédex says Kadabra used to be a human boy.
>Wind Rider / Trade Winds: If the user has no held item, its speed will double after it gains one.
>>59545265This is really cool. I feel like the skull pattern on the wing might be a bit much, but I can't see it replaced with anything else.
