Imagine intentionally making your device incompatible with some of the best and most impressive games on the new system just because you wanted to cheap out on not populating 16 pins in a 62 pin connector that already had room for said pins and about an inch of edge connectors on the PCB that altogether would have added negligible cost.Yet you spend even more money on a showy flimsy "locking" mechanism on the device that only works on the earliest cartridge revisions.Especially after having beaten Nintendo of all people in a lawsuit to make your device legal to produce the previous generation.No fucking wonder Galoob never even made a Gen 5 device and just went bust a few years later and was bought out by Hasbro.
