>>11988017It had a lot of Japanese developer support because it was inexpensive to print games for, coming off of the super nintendo having these expensive cartridges that nintendo controlled the production of (and would often limit how man units a company could even order) to a largely open, cheap platform with inexpensive cds was a huge incentive.I think if the western market didn't already have such a strong PC community at the time the 3do might have done better.
