This game kicked ass
>>11986609The ending was so dumb
Name another game that UTTERLY mogged the movie it was based on.I'll wait.
>>11986646That alt ending was the best part
>>11986653are vin diesel's hands actually that big?
Good game and the multiplayer was surprisingly decent.
Willow is probably the second best action RPG on NES, only surpassed by crystalis.
True Lies is a very fun action game. I've beat it on hard mode on both SNES and Genesis now, the shootouts are just great.Doesn't follow the movie 100%, but that's fine, neither did Goldeneye, a game needs to be a game first and foremost, and it has enough of the movie that I'm satisfied with it.
>>11986609Honestly a fantastic hover racer in its own right
>>11986653It mogs Chronicles, sure, but it's technically a prequel to Pitch Black, and is much closer to that movie in spirit.
>>11987213big hand, big knife :)))
>>11986653Xmen Origins
This also kicked ass
>>11986609I remember having this as a teenager and thinking it sucked>>11988532This one is a solid 8
>>11987369glad to see someone post this game. it really is an amazing game especially for the era. i really like this game. i beat with save states cause its a password game. had a shit load of fun and the secrets made the game worth investigating.
>>11986609it was ok apart from the duels which were pretty damn greatthe main levels drag on
Step aside peasants, the King of movie games has arrived
>>11988529Great choice, forgot about that one
>>11988532Used to play this and Champions of Norrath all the time online on ps2.
>>11988532iconic
>>11987369I think I played this game, but I've absolutely never seen the movie.
>>11986653https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxXXysTOtsY
>>11989321>The wolf moves...among sheep.>No law ever written...is as powerful as cold steel.
>>11989426Meant for>>11989423
>>11986609I actually really liked the GBA port of this.
This was the first game I ever played
>>11986653That's more because Riddick is a mostly ok movie, but anyone who says that Butcher Bay mogs Pitch Black is utterly insane, I'd argue that PB is as close to a "perfect movie" as you can get for what it's going for and the budget it had.
>>11989945Based low budget sci fi horror punching WAY above its weight, enjoyer! Has David Twohy directed any other movie since pitch black that wasn’t part of the riddick movies?
>>11989489Still enjoy it or come back to it ever? Or does it suck with or without nostalgia?
>>11989967I went back to it at one point but it was clunky as shit and the music got really annoying
>>11988636Passwords is the practical way to play it (and I can excuse using savestates just for getting back to the game later if you have to quit and go), but you can git gudder as you go. I was actually a bit amazed with myself that I was able to beat it on hard the first time, but I've played it a lot recently.I'm not gonna say that it's a perfect 10/10 game, because I can envision various improvements, but it's still a fun shooter which is easy to drop into on the spot. The punchy gunshots, explosions, and blood splatter, it all helps make the game very satisfying.>>11989321It's a very good action movie and a very good comedy movie. Everyone also points out that this is a rare case of a movie license game published by LJN which is actually good, which was usually not the case (usually because the contracts and schedules which LJN gave developers seldom allowed a thorough job).
Underrated licensed game right here
