>>11987375>What consoles/PC hardware are you emulating on?I got a Xbox Series X that hasn't left dev mode in years, RGH Xbox 360, modded PS2, modded Wii and an Anbernic RG40XX. Got 2 2tb hard drives full of games.Basically I will never buy a video game in my life ever again... I might mod a PS3 in the future, but idc atm desu>What TV(s) or monitor(s) are you using?55 inch 4K Samsung for Series X24 inch Panasonic CRT for PS2, WiiMy 360 fluctuates between both, but I honestly prefer it on the CRT>What systems do you play the most and what are you playing rn?I play a lot of Genesis and SNES, mostly emulated via my Wii. Lately I've been playing DC/Flycast on XBX, finished Zombie Revenge yesterday
>>11987375>>How are you playing your games?Real hardware on CRT>>What consoles/PC hardware are you emulating on?Nothing>>What TV(s) or monitor(s) are you using?Sony CPD-G220R, JVC D-Series 27">>Do you emulate on phone/handheld?No>>What systems do you play the most and what are you playing rn?Xbox, Saturn, PS2 the most, then PS1, DC, Genesis, FC, then PCE, SNES, Wii, 64 in that orderI have a capture set up, my consoles are organized on a sort of tower organizer with 5 large shelves, each shelf has a "laptop monitor" stand to help keep the platforms organized and steady. All my consoles go into cheap amazon 8-1 composite switches, I use two switches stacked on each other - one for component video the other for the RCA stereo. It's then sent in a splitter to my speaker set up and to a tink 5x. Video lines are connected to a radioshack component signal duplicator which sends it to my tink 5x, and JVC TV. Tink has an hdmi splitter which goes to my Sony CPD-G220R (has an hdmi to vga converter) and my capture card which also gets sent to my 55" TV on the other side of the room.
>>11987552How much is your game collection worth? Are you a hoarder that buys any piece of plastic and shelf them to rot away untouched or do you buy, play and finish all your games?
>>11987713I lost most of it as a kid, so I didn't buy games for old consoles except for my PS1 long box collection which I do for the fun of it.
I kept all my old consoles and the 27" CRT I had from childhood. I daisy chain all the consoles together through RF, it looks fine.
>>11987713>He fell for the obvious troll

I wish I could play on my CRT more but a bunch of my Dad's shit is in the way, and it won't be getting moved anytime soon.>>What consoles/PC hardware are you emulating on?A Lenovo Legion, my main (and only) PC that I got as a present in 2019.>>What TV(s) or monitor(s) are you using?A 32' Toshiba from 1999, it's one of the earlier tubes with component inputs and looks really nice. >>Do you emulate on phone/handheld?No. >>What systems do you play the mostWhen I DO play my consoles, it's a two-way tie between the OG Xbox and Wii.>>and what are you playing rn?Nothing, but earlier today I beat DOOM (1993) for the first time.

>>11987375All manner of blasphemy for me. OLED TV, Analogue Pocket for everything 16-bit and earlier. Jailbroken PS3 for what little PS1/2 stuff I care about. I have been playing a little F-Zero X and Mario Kart 64 with my 9'' trinitron, but I just got a PS4 so most of my time lately has been spent on that. Other than gameboy Tetris, the oldest game I'm really playing on right now is Ace Attorney Justine for All on my DS.
All you need is a PC.
>>11987375I have multiple different setups. Right now I have my PS3 hooked up to a project. It's loaded with PS1/2 and retro games along with PS3 games. Currently playing tomb raider. I also have an r36s, switch and n3dsxl out for gaming in bed and such. Will be switching out the PS3 for a Saturn and Dreamcast soon.
>>11988732Projector*
Shit thread.
>>11990415Only cos you didn't contribute. Way to go
Does wii support 240p?
I wish I could afford an astro city cabinet, I would kill for that as my endgame.
>>11992524yeah on virtual console titles and homebrew emulators. wii/gc games themselves are all 480 except like 2 gc games
>>11988702you've been playing jet set radio too long

>>11992959Zoomerchads, I kneel. Now I humbly ask that you let these old dudes talk about their televisions in peace, since you have blessed the thread.>>11988725
>>11992956Here's a fresh picture, just for you.>>11993130I'm pretty happy with everything except the N64, which looks like shit. The OLED actually has one composite input, which is connected to the Nintendo. I was expecting to have an Analogue 3D by now to solve that problem, but... yeah.
im playing socom 2 online right now on the emulatori have 6 crts
>>11993358
>>11988702Does anybody else feel that Xbox One X > Xbox Series X for backwards compatibility? Skyrim especially feels like shit on a Series and Oblivion doesn't feel as good as it does on the One X.
>>11993304>The OLED actually has one composite inputWhere's your scaler? You should get a half decent scaler for your setup. What are you doing playing old systems on an oled with out a scaler? What works best is MiSTer for all the older systems and a Retrotink4K for the newer ones. I don't have a Retrotink4K my self, I have a Frame Meister equivalent from an older boutique hifi brand. I mean I get it if you don't want a MiSTer and use all your old hardware and games, but get a scaler for your oled.
>>11993820I don't know why I would need that. I have an Analogue Pocket+Dock for all <32 bit systems, an upscaling VGA to HDMI adapter for the Dreamcast, and the OG Xbox component output is upscaled by my AVR, and I really only use that for games I can't play with my 360.
I have a 4:3 LCD with fluorescent backlight Really feels like you are back in 2007 and it doesn't even look bad... Except for shades of black of course
>>11993867For Nintendo 64 or anything else you think you want to use in that composite input. Either MiSTer or adding a scaler. The analog 3d isn't going to do anything more than either of those options.
>>11987375I use one of those adapters to connect my SNES and N64 to my regular QLED TV. Looks like shit. The end.
>>11987375>>How are you playing your games?real hardware on oled with retrotink 5x, scart if able without modifying hardware (3/4, composite for the nes)>>What consoles/PC hardware are you emulating on?nothing>>What TV(s) or monitor(s) are you using?1440p oled, it's nice with the upscaler, for some reason the sega genesis looks better than the snes with an upscaler>>Do you emulate on phone/handheld?no>>What systems do you play the most and what are you playing rn?I own an NES, SNES, Genesis, and PS1 and nothing else, I'd like to get a saturn again but I'll be honest I have enough for a lifetime, no reason to push for more when I have plenty. Currently been playing a lot of NES, recent highlights have been tmnt 3, ninja gaiden 1-3, and adventure island 2/3.
>>11987375i dont need moreswitch the console out with a ps2 or ps1 to play those games kinda want a n64 but i already have so many consoles
>>11994137My old setup before i moved to japanCrt is nice but i dont miss the loud whine and eyestrain
>>11994141Needs grape juice instead of apple but good otherwise
>>11993871I've been picking these up when I see cool ones, particularly those with native 640x480 panels. They feel pretty nice to play on, and a lot of them support component video. Picrel is a NOS Sharp I got on eBay recently that miraculously worked perfectly out of the box.>>11994137Cute rig, how is the SuFami hooked-up, composite? I've found "older" Sharp LCDs look great with analog inputs.
>>11994141>apple juiceBASED
>>11993123The entirety of act 2 is missing in the JP ver.The part where you go to Grind Square and get shot at by helicopters while Rob Zombie's Dragula playsliterally the best fucking part
>>11993304>Here's a fresh picture, just for youThanks. I like your setup and taste in games.
>>11988702What happened to the plasma?>>11994137Please at least get a better monitor. Decent flat screens are basically free now.
Emulating through Android on my 55 inch 4k Samsung tv with either a shield controller or xbone. I also emulate on my galaxy s25 phone using a one of those gamesir extendable grip controllers.
>>11994627>What happened to the plasma? It's in a closet under a sheet, right behind the fireplace actually. I'd like to put it back in service if I ever get a bigger place. I miss having all the analog inputs.
>>11990415>how dare people talk about anything that isn't resident evil, japanese games that 6 people played and bing bing wahoo man?
