I always like weird and indirect weapons (and other abilities) because I enjoy finding strange routes through games. I am also a sequence breaker for this reason, when I don't think it'll cost me too much game content. I also enjoy exploring balance among abilities and the feeling that I'm proving the worth of some ability that I assume is highly unpopular.Among weapons, this means: projectiles with awkward paths, weapons with awkward delays such as bombs or mines, slow-but-strong weapons, and anything with especially unusual side effects such as health draining or setting enemies on fire that is capable of spreading to other enemies (my favorites are minion creation and conversion of enemies into allies).In the UT vs. Quake III competition I was a UT partisan all the way.
