What should I do with my old gaming mags? I don't want to bring them with me when I move. I have pretty much every issue of EGM from like 1995 onward, and every PSM although I might keep those. Is there a museum I can donate them to or something?
you could try selling them on ebay or sell or donate them to a local retro game shop store near you, I’d love to have them though
>>11990894Old game mags can fetch a pretty penny on ebay nowadays. Though I've noticed that it's mainly 4th gen stuff and earlier that makes the most money. There's a Video Game History Foundation out there but I think the curator has a huge collection of game mags already and likely has all the EGMs. I think they've all been scanned and are on Retromags or Archive. You might find a local game shop or arcade that might take them. I'd just sell them though.
>>11991006>can fetch a pretty penny on ebaySome even fetch hundreds of pennies. If OP plays his cards right he could make as much as 1995 minimum wage selling his old magazines. A truly retro achievement.
>>11990894give it to retromags or archive org or some scanlation group.
>>11990894I threw mine away then realized it was about $1200 worth on ebay a couple years later
>>11991734It's a $1200 you wait so long for though by the time you get it it's no longer worth $1200.
Check on retromags if you have anything that hasn't been scanned

>>11990894Buy a used scanner and scan them all.
>>11990894Donate or Sell on ebay, normally I would offer to take them from you but at this point I would just be getting extra issues of stuff I already own.
Scan them and upload to archive
