For me, it's Joust.
I want to like the Pro Line joystick since it looks so cool, but mine at least are unreliable. I usually try the Pro Line for like 10 minutes and then I just use a Genesis controller adapter. I like playing Dig-Dug and Food Fight on it.
Midnight Mutants and Rikki&Vikki. I'm interested to try out that Bentley Bear homebrew that got turned into an official game. Does anyone know if the new gamepads Atari sells are compatible with original hardware?
>>11992121They are
>>11992124Nice. I really like how they are supporting these systems with new games and hardware (even if technically meant for new)while being reasonably priced.
>>11992140I usually hate mini/emulator console re-releases but Atari's 2600/7800+ are honestly really cool as somebody who's never had an Atari console. I'm thinking about pickingone up instead of an OG 7800. I hear they can't play flashcarts though, which isn't really a big deal to me - but do any anons know if that's true?
>>11992121Everything Atari is putting out for the 2600+/7800+ is compatible with original hardware. Kinda wild that this is the direction they'vs gone as a company but honestly it's way better than them trying to just sell and Rpi with wood paneling.
>>11991378Genuine question for anyone who has used one of these. Is that controller as awful as it looks? The dpad looks too close to the corner and has an awful shapw. And the buttons are ok on their placement but those trenches theyre in look like they'd feel weird too.It looks like a controller designed by a fancy graphic designer with 0 care for how usable it was
All games planned for the cancelled 1984 release are excellent.
