Sure, because all 3 Spyro games are similar but different. I don't dislike 1, but it definitely has the most barebones approach of the 3.

It's always worth trying if you're willing. Though I will tell you that if you disliked Spyro 1 because of the gameplay you will most likely hate 2. It retains largely the same formula with only minor additions in mechanics.
