Why does no one ever talk about Light Crusader? It's like Diablo + Gunstar Heroes + Echochrome. It's basically the forgotten Treasure game. Just beat it over the weekend and it was a lot of fun!
>>11997326Probably because no one played it
>>11997326It's a really cool game. There's a lot of Genesis games most people never played. That's the story of the Genesis. It has lots of new IP games that never went anywhere
This game taught me im tone deaf with its music box puzzle.
>>11997326It's my favorite Genesis game.Check this out https://youtu.be/K98bUXSHejY
>>11997326>Answer the riddleMany great games aren't discussed in here very often.I like it a lot, and I play it once every few yearsIt's also one of those games where the EU/JAP boxart is superior
It's a cool game, but the puzzles filtered me and the combat is very very simplistic despite the cool elemental magic systemThe high point for me it's the mysterious atmosphere and the music. It also have some cool bosses including a fucking military tank
>>11998428Yeah, I wish the combat had some basic combos like a beat em up
It's the least Treasure like style game from TreasureThe art style feel very western and it's not an action game Still love it
>>11998373That hidden town secret is the stuff creepypastas are made of.
There's too many janky puzzles. But this theme is a banger:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTCWUJkbntg
The game feels more like Knight Lore than Diablo.
Are there any other games where a random cat will buy your meat in a dungeon or is that exclusively a Light Crusader thing?
>>12000562Well, in Cadash there's a quest where you talk to an talking dog and he shows you the secret way out of the level
>>11997326I loved this game as a kid, and was very proud of beating it, although I know it was not particularly difficult. It had great atmosphere and music IMO.
I Saved over my savestate half way through the game on the title screen and never returned to it.
>>12001672Deserved, get fucked.
>>12001672>savestatesYou quite literally did not beat the game kek
>>11997326It was ok. I don't understand the people who get assblasted at developers trying something different.I will say that having to repeat puzzles when backtracking got kind of annoying at some point, but that one boss fight near the end (you know the one) made the entire game worthwhile for me.
