Finally pulled all my retro consoles out of storage and knocked my NES off a chair on accident and a ~2 foot fall on to the floor left a huge crack in the case. Last time I opened it up for cleaning the screw posts were already cracking and crumbling so not surprised. So I'm gonna take this as an excuse to get a new shell (kinda want the purple one but it's sold out everywhere) and to mod the shit out of it. Anyone have any NES mods they're recommend?Also general console mods/upgrade thread I guess.

Does anyone make new cases that have spots for HDMI/power mods? I could always just go for a refurb case or something close to OEM but idk, I feel like having some fun.

I’m not sure what changed but now it seems cool to me..

Was my dad's but I guess he sold it to my uncle at some point. Every so often he'll hint at wanting it back but never bothers to collect on that. I need to repair it most likely anyways since last time I had it set up it didn't work too well. I also have a spare I found at a Goodwill a few years back for dirt cheap. Got a 32x and Master System adapter too.
