What games would you recommend to someone who likes Shenmue 1? It's the only /vr/ adventure RPG (using that loosely) I've actually enjoyed.
>>12000527Snatcher and Famicom Detective Club.
Shenmue 2
>>12000527The first 2 yakuza games are 6th gen, by SEGA, with more and better combat mixed with action RPG elements and on the verge of becoming retro...But I "can't" recommend them here until at least 2026...>>12000537Both of these too.
>>12000547>with more and better combat mixedNoCombat in Shenmue is much better
>>12000551>Combat in Shenmue is much betterIt's scarce and there's no random encounters like in Yakuza. You can have fun in Yakuza for hours grinding and then do the real missions maxxed as fuck. Being able to use objects of the environment feels like Street of Rage.Shenmue is an experience, Yakuza is a game.
Boku no Natsu Yasumi
Uh, Shenmue 2?Shadow of Memories
>>12000547Are they still worth playing if I played Kiwami? It's a good story so I wouldn't mind replaying, especially if it's different enough.
>>12000604Wouldn't know, didn't play it. I want to try it eventually
>>12000604>It's a good story so I wouldn't mind replayingYeah definitely then, the PS2 games have a really unique flair to them with their fixed camera angles and art direction
>>12000573and harvest fishing
>>12000527lightning returns
>>12000573What's similar about it?
>>12000547Yakuza series is basically the spiritual successor, there's nothing really that close.>>12000551>Combat in Shenmue is much betterActual brainrot.>>12000604Kiwami changed a lot, but I guess you don't really have to. Yakuza 2 was amazing for it's time.
>>12000547Read the rules closer next time, retard. Yakuza 1 and 2 are retro.>December 8, 2005>December 7, 2006
>>12000527Mizzurna Falls
>>12004808We're old
>>1200480820 years rule ate my brain. You should have sex though
