I don't think old mac ( before mac os x) games get any recognition. I will start with pax imperia, it is pretty much the mac version of emperor of fading suns in terms of complexity and systems. There Is alter windows versions but it loses most of its systems. There are also glider pro, and a pretty good wolfenstein 3d port.So what are some of your favorites?
I love the Mac version of Epyx Rogue, it's way ahead of its time. Shufflepuck Cafe is another good one, obviously mouse-oriented titles do well on the Macintosh.
never had a mac, but i liked escape velocity nova
Behold, the true original moviegame.
>Oh my God, that's the best move I've ever seen! I hope your friends are watching!
glider pro was the shit, on portmaster now
I wish I still had my old 2000 Mac shareware games cd. That was incredible>the big one>pathways into darknes>sim city 2000>deliverance>siege of darkwood>all the weird/creepy adventure games made in hypercard>gang wars>the Odyssey
Didn't have a Mac, but I played this dope Centipede clone every day after school in 5th grade. The sound effects are still seared into my brain.
Robosport was an amazing game, some modern developer cloned it (Frozen Synapse) but the original just has much more soul.>>12003210They have all those shareware CDs on the Internet Archive.Anyway I own quite a few good vintage Macs, some IIci's and IIcx's. A IIfx. Four or five SE/30s. But I'll admit to emulating titles on BasiliskII before bothing to boot up one of the Macs and install a game these days. The 68K Mac Liberation Army people have an Appletalk network (over the Internet) going along with a large number of old-Mac friendly services. Hundreds of people are usually online at any given time.

What's that game where you drop that guy from a helicopter into a horse-drawn carriage?
