Is this the most overrated accessory of all time? Virtual on sucks
>>
>>12001583
I'm inclined to agree, I don't get what the big deal is about Virtual On.
>>
I only played it in arcade and it’s a blast- I have played it on Xbox 360 arcade with the controller and it isn’t the same. That peripheral looked fun to me but I doubt it’s as good as the cabinet obviously but it still looks fun. I wonder if two joysticks mounted to something would just be better though?

It's just cool.
>>
What about all of the rom hacks and shit. There's bulk slash and the other mech games that escape me
>>
>>12001586
Gameplay that was way ahead of it's time held back by controls that have a massive learning curve

Sega is still seething to this day over Gundam VS being a massive success purely because it uses a standard one joystick-four button layout

Based Blue Destiny player (the proper way).
>>
Everyone especially OP in this thread can suck a fat dick. Twin sticks are awesome as fuck.
>>
>>12001583
>Is this the most overrated accessory of all time?
no
>Virtual on sucks
no
As always, OP is a faggot.
>>
>I don't like something so it's overrated
learn what words mean before using them

I saw two of these in a games shop about a month ago. It was maybe the first time I seriously considered owning a Saturn, but the basic two sticks with the drawn on graphics make it look too much like a Fisher-Price toy relative to what the reseller price is. They sold in two weeks so I hope some anon appreciates them.

>Twin sticks are awesome as fuck.
Why?
Which games would you recommend?
>>
>>12002172
In theory you could simultaneously play mario with one and zelda with the other. Just imagine!
>>
>>12002326
On Saturn?
>>
Gungriffon 2 is great with it but as a peripheral the analog stick is better.
>>
>>12001602
>played it on Xbox 360 arcade with the controller and it isn’t the same.
I started out with just using controllers and that was fine(both Saturn and DC) but once I tried out the Twin Sticks I could never go back. Its way more fun.
>>12002130
>make it look too much like a Fisher-Price toy
Looks fine to me but to each their own but I can vouch for it being very solid. Nothing cheap about it.
>>
>>12002715
>On Saturn?
Imagine not knowing that controllers can be easily used on many different systems
>>
>>12004057
You're telling me fifth gen consoles don't all have bespoke controller ports?
>>
>>12004086
You're telling me zoomer gen children don't have the ability to reply without embarrassing themselves with absolutely ridiculous cope?
I already knew that.

I have Virtua On and twin sticks for Saturn and it’s incredible. I’m not a fighting game guy but it’s an exception. It’s my favorite fighting game on the system.

This is mostly because stuff like Virtua Fighter and the Capcom fighters just aren’t my thing, but Virtua On takes skill, stays challenging and just appeals to me more. It feels like there’s more dimensions to the action, more moving around and spacing strategy than something like Last Bronx or Virtua Fighter. That might be just because I’m not good at those games, I’m sure they have a lot of complexity one you get into them.

The game controls perfectly, it just takes some getting used to. It feels natural. If even played some online recently using the Netlink mods (see segaxtreme.com)

Gungriffon 2 is the other great Twin Stick Saturn game. The Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story Games are all good too. I prefer Bulk Slash with a controller, it doesn’t feel right to me. Whoever made the Atari Arcade ports really shit the bed when they didn’t include and option for Robotron. I think its in the Dreamcast version but the Saturn runs the game the best.

Okay well I'll just buy the Sega TwinStick and use it on my Sony PlayStation then.
>>
>>12004458
Where's the cope in my reply?
>>
>>12001583
I have the twin sticks and LOVE Virtual On but agree. I do better with the standard controller. Learning to jump cancel is mandatory though.
>>
twin stick bump
>>
I herd people that own the twin sticks are really good at giving handjobs.
>>
I think it's cool as it gets. But it was never used right. Both a fail on the system but also little early on the time.

If this came out say N64 years it would be amazing.
>>
>>12004563
>>12004567
The cope is in all your replies. As a (You) thirsty child your world revolves around shitposting the first hot take that pops into your vacuous head and then coping about it. Spoiler alert: You've been coping the whole time.
>>
>>12008579
But can I use the Sega TwinStick on PlayStation?
>>
>>12008641
I saw one on japan mercari that was modded to work on playstation actually
>>
>>12008779
Without modding, and I want this anon >>12004057 to verify it.
>>
>>12001602
I played the 360 port years ago and I remember hating the controls. I'd like to try it again some day with a proper dual joystick controller.
>>
>>12008641
>But can I use the Sega TwinStick on PlayStation?
No. (You) can't. But I can. Anyone who's not underage and severely retarded can.
>>12008936
>Without coping
You can't do anything without coping
>>
>>12009027
How u do dis
>>
>>12008936
You can buy a Saturn to PC usb adapter. I have an old mayflash one and fucked around with the twin stick to play Doom with it years ago out of boredom when I was grounded by my mom when she caught me getting a blowjob from her husband.
>>
Can't it just be played with 2 miices or teh switch joys
>>
>>12009027
>cope cope cope
Something something dilate
>>
I really want one but I won't let myself spend 70 bucks on it and then have to store it forever. I got a saturn race wheel for really cheap and I never fucking use that thing
